I live on the Sussex coast in Shoreham by sea.

I am inspired by the ever-changing nature of the sea and the sky that surround me and reflect  this in my paintings which are built of layers of  colour and texture to capture the energy and mood of the moment.

I particularly enjoy the dramatic, yet transient effects of atmosphere and light and liberating feeling of  space and tranquility of horizon and shoreline,

I work primarily in watercolour and water based media as I feel it has a translucency and vibrancy hard to match although i enjoy experimenting with new styles , methods and techniques.

My work has been displayed at The Mall Gallery in London.

I also produce my paintings as limited edition giclee prints and cards.

I am the Chair of adurArt Collective set up in 2010 to develop visual arts throughout the district and organise and fund The Adur Art Trail annually in June plus other events and workshops throughout the year.

adurArt collective consists of over 130 Artists including painters, print makers, sculptors, textile designers, photographers, stained glass and jewellery makers.
